Spent last week in NY with my old high school "sweetheart" Larry. That is how he introduced me to people at his 50th high school reunion in Brooklyn, Coney Island last Sunday. First reunion I had ever been to and it was quite a production. People came from all over and Neil Diamond who graduated that year, sent a video because he was performing and couldn't be there. I had a great time in NY....it definitely is an exciting place to visit but as the saying goes, I wouldn't want to live there. I saw a fabulous play, All my Sons with John Lithgow, Diane Wiest and Katie Holmes. It was so awesome I did not want to leave my seat when it was over.
Went to see the Van Gough exhibit at the Museum of Modern Art with my sister, Central Park, the Village, 5th Avenue, the Guggenheim Museum and walked my feet off. It was a full on week and I met some great people.
I'm in Cleveland now with my sister and my cat Chloe...both are happy to see me, especially Chloe! She hardly leaves my side and is much more affectionate than when I left. I guess absence does make the heart grow fonder. We have some fun things planned while I'm here and I'm going to finally go to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. I'm back to California on November 1st and leave for Sydney on the 13th.
